Union Minister Chirag Paswan commented on the ongoing protests by the INDIA bloc and Congress in Delhi, stating that India, being the world's largest democracy, has always allowed peaceful demonstrations. However, he emphasized the need to identify antisocial elements attempting to spread anarchy under the guise of protests.

Paswan alleged that recent demonstrations aimed to create an environment of chaos in the country, which the central government successfully controlled. He noted that movements have historically guided the nation and provided opportunities for new young leaders, citing his father's emergence from a student movement. He clarified that while protest has a place in a democracy, it should not be used to incite anarchy.

The Union Minister accused Congress of causing inconvenience to Delhi residents for three days and also blamed CJP for leading youth towards chaos. According to him, if the objective of a protest is to create disorder, then such elements must be identified.

When questioned about alleged police brutality during the protests, Chirag Paswan stated that he is against violence but acknowledged that the police might have made decisions based on the prevailing circumstances. His statement reflected both support for police action and opposition to violence. Regarding the opposition's demand for resignations over law and order in Bihar, he said that resignation is not a solution to every problem. He asserted that his party has raised its voice on all issues and strives for improvements while being part of the system. He concluded by reiterating that democracy in India can never be abolished.
