A shocking incident has come to light in Harnaut, Nalanda district, where a man's CNG auto-rickshaw was stolen from outside his home. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras, clearly showing the thieves making off with the auto. Despite eight days passing since the incident, the police have yet to make any arrests, leaving the auto owner disheartened.

According to Santosh Kumar, a resident of Gonawan village under Harnaut police station, he had purchased the CNG auto-rickshaw to earn a livelihood, and it was his sole source of income. He stated that a few days ago, he parked his auto-rickshaw outside his house. When he woke up in the morning, he found the auto missing. Panicked, he immediately searched the vicinity but could not find it.

Following this, Santosh Kumar promptly informed the police and lodged a complaint about the stolen auto. The police, recognizing the seriousness of the matter, began reviewing CCTV footage from the area. The footage clearly shows some unknown thieves making off with his auto late at night. However, the identities of the thieves are not clear in the CCTV footage, which is posing challenges for the police investigation.

Santosh Kumar has appealed to the police to recover his auto-rickshaw as soon as possible, as its theft has created a crisis for his livelihood. The police have assured him that they are investigating the matter and will try to apprehend the thieves soon. Local residents are also concerned about this incident, as such thefts raise questions about public safety.
