Congress workers in Bhabhua, Kaimur district, staged a strong protest against the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's program, targeting both the Central and Uttarakhand governments. The protest saw Congress activists gathering at Ekta Chowk in Bhabhua, raising slogans and registering their dissent.

The demonstration was led by District Congress President Ramchhavila Singh Yadav, who alleged that the Uttarakhand government canceled Rahul Gandhi's scheduled program at the behest of the Central government. He termed it an attack on democracy, stating that the BJP government is attempting to suppress the voice of the opposition. Yadav emphasized that Rahul Gandhi has been raising crucial public issues like inflation and unemployment, which has rattled the BJP government. He warned that the Congress party would not bow down to such suppressive tactics and would continue to advocate for public concerns.

Protesting Congress workers carried placards with slogans such as 'Save Democracy,' 'Don't Stop Rahul Gandhi,' 'Reduce Inflation,' and 'Remove Unemployment.' They vociferously chanted against the Central and Uttarakhand governments and in support of Rahul Gandhi. The workers asserted that this incident highlights the BJP government's fear of the opposition and its attempts to obstruct freedom of expression and political activities.
