अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ-1) अजीत कुमार ने बताया कि पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि इन होटलों में बाहर से महिलाओं को बुलाकर देह व्यापार कराया जा रहा है। सूचना मिलने के बाद वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक को मामले से अवगत कराया गया और थानाध्यक्ष रवींद्र कुमार के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष तकनीकी छापेमारी दल का गठन किया गया। पुलिस टीम ने सगुना मोड़ स्थित होटल ड्रीम विला और गोला रोड स्थित होटल मगध सम्राट में एक साथ छापेमारी की।
होटल ड्रीम विला से केन्या की एक विदेशी महिला मिली, जिसे पुलिस ने सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। महिला के पास से दो मोबाइल फोन और पासपोर्ट की छायाप्रति बरामद हुई। जांच में पता चला कि वह करीब एक सप्ताह से होटल में ठहरी हुई थी। पुलिस उसके पासपोर्ट का सत्यापन करा रही है। गोला रोड स्थित होटल मगध सम्राट से कोलकाता और छत्तीसगढ़ की रहने वाली दो महिलाओं को भी रेस्क्यू किया गया।
पुलिस ने दोनों होटलों में अनैतिक गतिविधियां संचालित करने के आरोप में साहेबपुर कमाल नया टोला निवासी रवींद्र सिंह और धैरेया के पुरेनिया निवासी पप्पू कुमार को गिरफ्तार किया है। उनके मोबाइल फोन और होटल के कमरों की बुकिंग से संबंधित रजिस्टर जब्त कर लिए गए हैं। एसडीपीओ अजीत कुमार ने बताया कि विदेशी महिला के पासपोर्ट और उसके होटल में ठहरने के कारणों की भी जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस यह भी पता लगा रही है कि इस मामले के तार अन्य स्थानों से जुड़े हैं या नहीं। जांच के दौरान दोनों होटलों के मालिकों की भूमिका की भी जांच की जाएगी और संलिप्तता पाए जाने पर उनके खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पुलिस जब्त दस्तावेजों और साक्ष्यों के आधार पर आगे की कानूनी प्रक्रिया में जुटी है।

Her passport is being verified. Two other women from Kolkata and Chhattisgarh were rescued from Hotel Magadh Samrat on Gola Road.
The arrested managers have been identified as Ravindra Singh, a resident of Sahebpur Kamal Naya Tola, and Pappu Kumar, a resident of Purenia, Dhaireya. Their mobile phones and hotel booking registers were seized. SDPO Ajit Kumar confirmed that the foreign woman's passport and reasons for her stay are under investigation, as is the potential involvement of other locations. The role of the hotel owners will also be scrutinized, with action to be taken if their complicity is established. Police are proceeding with legal action based on the evidence collected.
