A 'Janata Darbar' (public court) was organized on Saturday at the Anchal office in Darauli block, Siwan district, to ensure the swift and impartial resolution of land-related disputes. The event saw the presence of Anchal Adhikari Ved Prakash Narayan, Station House Officer Vikas Kumar Singh, and Additional Station House Officer Mohan Kumar Nirala, who collectively heard the grievances of the petitioners.

During the Janata Darbar, a total of 15 land dispute cases were presented. Officials meticulously listened to arguments from both parties and thoroughly examined available documents and records. Following the hearings, 11 of these 15 cases were successfully resolved on the spot. For the remaining four cases, notices were issued to the concerned parties for further investigation of necessary documents and facts, with subsequent hearing dates scheduled.

Anchal Adhikari Ved Prakash Narayan stated that the primary objective of the Janata Darbar is to provide quick, fair, and transparent solutions to land disputes. He emphasized that resolving minor land disputes promptly can save people from unnecessary hassle and prolonged legal battles. Officials instructed the concerned parties to attend the next hearing with all required documents. The review also included previously pending cases, where after hearing both sides and verifying records, the resolution process was advanced. Revenue staff, DEO Brajesh Raj, petitioners, and local residents were present at the event.
