Rohtas: Political rhetoric has intensified following the murder of Dr. Vimal Kumar, Executive Officer (EO) of Dehri Dalmianagar Nagar Parishad in Bihar. Amidst this, 'Lets Inspire Bihar' has issued a clarification after Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav questioned the relationship between Dehri LJP (R) MLA Sonu Singh and Magadh Range IG Vikas Vaibhav. The organization explicitly stated that MLA Sonu Singh has no formal association with them and has only participated in various programs as a public representative.

Tejashwi Yadav had alleged that MLA Sonu Singh has close ties with IG Vikas Vaibhav and funds 'Lets Inspire Bihar', an organization run by the IG. Tejashwi had also shared pictures of IPS Vikas Vaibhav and MLA Sonu Singh on his social media. Akhilesh Kumar, coordinator of 'Lets Inspire Bihar', refuted Tejashwi's allegations. He stated that IPS Vikas Vaibhav has no such intentions and urged Tejashwi Yadav to focus on other political issues in Bihar. The organization clarified in a press conference that MLA Sonu Singh is not associated with them as an office bearer or member; he merely attended some programs as an elected representative. The organization denied any formal relationship between the MLA and the group.

Dr. Vimal Kumar, EO of Dehri Nagar Parishad, was beaten to death in Barun, Aurangabad district. Following the incident, the victim's wife, Babita Vimal, made serious allegations against MLA Sonu Singh, accusing him of demanding extortion money and harassing her, which gave the case a new political dimension. However, the Aurangabad SIT has revealed that the EO's own driver, Mithilesh Kumar, confessed to the murder. The investigation indicated that the murder was deliberately staged to look like a road accident.
