Ahead of the last Somwari (Monday of Shravan month), the District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) conducted a joint inspection of the renowned Singheshwar Temple in Singheshwar, Madhepura. The inspection aimed to ensure the safety, smooth movement, and peaceful darshan for devotees.

During the visit, officials thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements within and around the temple premises. They meticulously examined devotee queue management, crowd control, and entry/exit systems. Furthermore, lighting, drinking water, sanitation facilities, medical aid, and parking arrangements were also assessed to prevent any inconvenience to the pilgrims.

The DM and SP issued necessary directives to the police officers and officials from relevant departments present. They emphasized that all essential arrangements must be completed on time, anticipating a large crowd on the final Somwari. The officials particularly stressed strengthening crowd control, traffic management, and overall security within the temple complex. Clear instructions were given that the convenience and safety of devotees should be the top priority. All concerned officers and personnel were urged to perform their duties with full diligence to ensure that all devotees visiting Singheshwar can have a safe, organized, and peaceful darshan and jalabhishek of Baba Singheshwarnath.
