Sadar sub-division has a new Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO). Dr. Prerna Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2021 batch, officially assumed her charge on Monday. Following her takeover, she met with the officers and staff of the sub-divisional office, familiarizing herself with the team and understanding the ongoing work and various schemes within the sub-division.

Dr. Singh stated that her primary focus would be on the effective implementation of government schemes and the swift resolution of public grievances. She emphasized ensuring that all government services are easily accessible to the people and that transparency is maintained in all administrative processes. She specifically highlighted the successful execution of welfare schemes.

After assuming office, Dr. Singh also inspected the sub-divisional office to understand its operational mechanisms. She instructed officials to carry out their duties with full dedication and integrity, stressing that teamwork is crucial for accelerating the development of the sub-division. Her appointment is expected to bring greater efficiency to administrative tasks and foster good governance within the Sadar sub-division.
