औरंगाबाद जिले में सोन नदी के किनारे एक वृद्ध व्यक्ति का शव मिलने से इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है। यह घटना दाउदनगर थाना क्षेत्र की है। मृतक की पहचान दाउदनगर के रहने वाले 65 वर्षीय राजेंद्र सिंह के रूप में हुई है। परिजनों के अनुसार, राजेंद्र सिंह मंगलवार को अपने घर से मवेशी चराने के लिए निकले थे, लेकिन देर शाम तक घर वापस नहीं लौटे। इसके बाद से ही परिजन उनकी तलाश कर रहे थे।
बुधवार की सुबह ग्रामीणों ने सोन नदी के किनारे झाड़ियों में एक शव देखा। शव मिलने की सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो गई। ग्रामीणों ने इसकी जानकारी स्थानीय पुलिस को दी। सूचना मिलते ही दाउदनगर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को अपने कब्जे में लिया। मृतक की पहचान के बाद पुलिस ने उनके परिजनों को सूचित किया।
परिजनों का कहना है कि राजेंद्र सिंह पूरी तरह स्वस्थ थे और उन्हें किसी से कोई दुश्मनी भी नहीं थी। वे मवेशी चराने के लिए अक्सर नदी किनारे जाते थे। अचानक उनकी मौत से परिवार सदमे में है। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए औरंगाबाद सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया है। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है। पुलिस यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि यह सामान्य मौत है या इसके पीछे कोई और वजह है। पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही मौत के सही कारणों का पता चल पाएगा। इस घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक का माहौल है।
