An elderly man, 58-year-old Ramchandra Sao, died on the spot in a tragic road accident in Goh, Aurangabad, on Tuesday evening around 7:30 PM. Sao was taking his grandson to a fair when a speeding motorcycle hit him near the State Bank in Goh. He was a resident of Punadaul village.

The impact of the collision was so severe that Ramchandra Sao sustained critical injuries and succumbed to them at the accident site. Following the incident, a large crowd gathered. Locals managed to apprehend the motorcycle involved in the accident, but the rider fled the scene.

Upon receiving information, Goh Station House Officer Rajiv Kumar, along with his police team, arrived at the spot. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital, Aurangabad, for post-mortem examination. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are taking further legal action. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the entire area.
