A 21-day-old infant tragically died during treatment at a private nursing home in Gopalganj, leading to a major protest by her family who accused doctors of medical negligence. Police were called to the scene to calm the situation. The incident occurred at a private nursing home located on Hospital Road, within the Nagar Police Station area.

The baby, daughter of Arif Kamar and Dilshad Ahmed from Chaurav village, had been ill for a week and was receiving treatment at this private hospital. Her family alleges that her condition continuously worsened during the treatment. When her health became critical, Dr. R.K. Singh from the hospital hastily referred her to Gorakhpur. The family was en route to Gorakhpur with the baby when she passed away.

Upon learning of the baby's death, the family brought her back to the hospital and began protesting, accusing the doctor of negligence. They claimed that timely and proper treatment could have saved her life. A large crowd gathered outside the hospital, creating a chaotic atmosphere for a considerable time. The family has demanded an impartial investigation and action against those responsible. The hospital management has not yet issued an official statement. Police have stated that appropriate legal action will be taken after receiving a formal complaint and investigating the matter.
