A violent clash erupted between two groups over an old dispute in the Kuchaikote police station area of Gopalganj district. Four people, including a couple, sustained serious injuries in the incident. The injured include a husband, wife, and two other individuals. Tensions escalated in the area following the clash. Upon receiving information, local police promptly arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. All injured individuals were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter and have detained some individuals from both sides for questioning. Officials stated that the dispute had been ongoing for some time and turned violent today. Additional police forces have been deployed in the area to maintain peace and order.
