गोरौल थाना क्षेत्र में बुधवार की सुबह एक दर्दनाक सड़क दुर्घटना में जैतपुर के एक युवक की मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान जैतपुर निवासी 25 वर्षीय चंदन कुमार के रूप में हुई है। घटना के बाद मृतक के परिजनों ने इसे महज एक दुर्घटना मानने से इनकार कर दिया है और हत्या का आरोप लगाया है। उनका कहना है कि चंदन की हत्या कर उसे दुर्घटना का रूप दिया गया है।
परिजनों के अनुसार, बुधवार सुबह चंदन अपनी बाइक से कहीं जा रहा था, तभी गोरौल के पास एक वाहन ने उसे टक्कर मार दी। गंभीर रूप से घायल चंदन को स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। इस घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही जैतपुर में चंदन के घर में कोहराम मच गया। परिवार के सदस्यों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल था।
हालांकि, कुछ ही देर बाद परिजनों ने इस घटना को लेकर गंभीर आरोप लगाने शुरू कर दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कोई सामान्य दुर्घटना नहीं बल्कि सुनियोजित हत्या है। आरोप है कि चंदन का कुछ लोगों से विवाद चल रहा था और इसी विवाद के चलते उसकी हत्या की गई है। आक्रोशित परिजनों ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजने से इनकार कर दिया और सीधे आरोपी के घर के बाहर ले जाकर रख दिया।
शव को आरोपी के घर के बाहर रखकर परिजनों और स्थानीय ग्रामीणों ने जमकर हंगामा और प्रदर्शन किया। वे हत्यारों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की मांग कर रहे थे। स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और लोगों को समझाने-बुझाने का प्रयास किया। पुलिस ने परिजनों को निष्पक्ष जांच और दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया, जिसके बाद जाकर प्रदर्शन शांत हुआ और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा जा सका। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है और विभिन्न पहलुओं से छानबीन कर रही है।
A 25-year-old youth, Chandan Kumar from Jaitpur, died in a tragic road accident in the Goraul police station area on Wednesday morning. According to the family, Chandan was riding his motorcycle on Wednesday morning when he was hit by a vehicle near Goraul. Seriously injured, he was rushed to the hospital by locals, where doctors declared him dead. The news plunged Chandan's family in Jaitpur into deep mourning.
Soon after, the grieving family accused certain individuals of murder, claiming Chandan had ongoing disputes with them. In a powerful display of protest, they refused to send the body for post-mortem and instead placed it directly outside the alleged perpetrator's house. Villagers joined the family in a massive demonstration, demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
Local police arrived at the scene to manage the volatile situation. After assurances of a fair investigation and strict action against those responsible, the protest was called off, and the body was finally sent for post-mortem. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter, exploring all angles.
