Even after 79 years of independence, the agricultural office in Konchi village, under Guraru block in Gaya district, lacks a proper paved road. The absence of a road causes daily inconvenience for the Block Agriculture Officer and other staff, a problem that intensifies significantly during the monsoon season.

Employees reported that on Thursday, around 11 AM, they had to navigate through mud and water, often carrying their footwear, to reach the office. Due to the poor condition of the road, the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony has not been held at the office premises for the past two years. The agricultural office premises and its surroundings are also plagued by accumulated garbage, posing a health risk to both staff and farmers.

This office is crucial for farmers in the area, providing access to government schemes and various agricultural services. The lack of a proper road and other basic facilities makes it difficult for both farmers and staff to access the office. Employees have urged the district administration to construct a paved road to the Konchi agricultural office and ensure cleanliness promptly.
