As part of an inspection drive by the Education Department, all Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential Schools (KGBV) in the district were examined. During this initiative, DPO Bhola Kumar Karna of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan inspected the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School located in Harnaut. He thoroughly checked various aspects of school operations, including teaching activities, student accommodation, cleanliness, and the attendance of both teachers and students.

During the inspection, out of 100 enrolled students, 98 were found to be present, indicating a satisfactory attendance rate. The DPO also gathered detailed information about the academic arrangements and facilities provided to the students. Warden Pratima Kumari apprised the DPO of all activities and arrangements related to the school's functioning. On this occasion, some students presented a welcome song to greet the DPO. Accountant Priya Gupta, Kumari Monica Sinha, Premchand Kumar, and other staff members were also present during the inspection. This inspection aimed to ensure the quality of education and the facilities available to students in residential schools.
