A crime incident has been reported in the Hilsa subdivision of Nalanda district, where bike-borne miscreants brutally assaulted two youths and looted ₹9,000 from them. The incident occurred near Sheikhopur Bridge, within the jurisdiction of Hilsa police station. The victims have been identified as Nitish Kumar, son of Ravindra Prasad, a resident of Bhatbigaha under Hilsa police station, and Vicky Kumar, son of Arjun Prasad, a resident of Kurahi under Bind police station.

Nitish Kumar stated that he and Vicky Kumar were returning from a relative's house. As they reached Sheikhopur Bridge, six miscreants on three motorcycles intercepted them. The assailants stopped them and, without any provocation, attacked them. The miscreants beat both youths with sticks, causing serious injuries. During the assault, the culprits also snatched ₹9,000 in cash from Nitish Kumar.

After committing the crime, all the miscreants fled the scene. The injured youths somehow managed to inform their family members. With the help of their relatives, both were admitted to Hilsa Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, where they received first aid. This incident has created an atmosphere of fear in the area.

The victims have filed a written complaint at Hilsa police station. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits. Police are scanning nearby CCTV footage and interrogating local residents. Such incidents raise questions about law enforcement and people are concerned about the security situation.
