नालंदा जिले के हिलसा नगर परिषद क्षेत्र के देवनगर मोहल्ले में एक सेवानिवृत्त सिपाही के मकान में चोरी की घटना सामने आई है। अज्ञात चोरों ने दो किरायेदारों के कमरों का ताला तोड़कर गैस सिलेंडर और हजारों रुपये नकद चुरा लिए। इस घटना की जानकारी गुरुवार सुबह हुई, जिसके बाद हिलसा थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू कर दी।
मकान मालिक श्रवण कुमार ने बताया कि गुरुवार सुबह जब वे सोकर उठे और मुख्य दरवाजा खोलकर बाहर निकले, तो उनकी नजर किरायेदारों के कमरों पर पड़ी। उन्होंने देखा कि दोनों कमरों के दरवाजों के ताले टूटे हुए थे। उन्होंने तत्काल फोन कर किरायेदारों को घटना की सूचना दी।
कोरामा पंचायत के दामोदरपुर गांव निवासी दीपक कुमार, जो एक किरायेदार हैं, ने बताया कि उनके कमरे से एक गैस सिलेंडर और एक हजार रुपये नकद चोरी हुए हैं। वहीं, दूसरे किरायेदार श्रवण कुमार, जो एकंगरसराय थाना क्षेत्र के महाराजगंज के रहने वाले हैं, ने बताया कि उनके कमरे से भी एक गैस सिलेंडर चोरी कर लिया गया है।
हिलसा थानाध्यक्ष चन्द्रभानु ने इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि अज्ञात चोरों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर ली गई है। पुलिस मामले की आगे की कार्रवाई कर रही है और चोरों की तलाश जारी है।
A theft has been reported in the Devnagar locality of Hilsa Nagar Parishad area, Nalanda district, at the house of a retired sepoy. Unidentified thieves broke the locks of two rented rooms and stole a gas cylinder and thousands of rupees in cash. The incident came to light on Thursday morning, following which Hilsa police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
The landlord, Shravan Kumar, stated that on Thursday morning, when he woke up and stepped out after opening the main door, he noticed the rented rooms. He saw that the locks on the doors of both rooms were broken. He immediately informed the tenants about the incident over the phone.
Deepak Kumar, a tenant from Damodarpur village in Korama Panchayat, reported that a gas cylinder and one thousand rupees in cash were stolen from his room. Another tenant, Shravan Kumar, a resident of Maharajganj in Ekangarsarai police station area, also reported that a gas cylinder was stolen from his room.
Hilsa Station House Officer Chandrabhanu confirmed that an FIR has been registered against unknown thieves. The police are taking further action in the case and are searching for the culprits.
