In Hilsa, Nalanda, the Rashtriya Yuva Adhikar (RYA) and All India Students Association (AISA) staged a strong protest on Saturday, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the abolition of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The demonstration took place near Cinema More, where the road remained blocked for approximately two hours, severely affecting traffic flow.

Responding to the call from the organizations, a large number of young people and AISA activists took to the streets, organizing a protest march. The march reached Cinema More, where demonstrators disrupted traffic and appealed to drivers and shopkeepers for their cooperation in the shutdown. Key demands of the protesters included the immediate resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the cancellation of NTA, and the withdrawal of all fabricated cases filed against protesting students.

Addressing a gathering at Cinema More, Sanjay Paswan, Block President of Naujawan Sabha, accused the central government of allegedly ruining the future of students. He alleged that Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was appointed to steer the education system towards a specific ideology, which RYA and AISA would never accept. Paswan also mentioned the hunger strike of renowned scientist Sonam Wangchuk and his subsequent removal from the protest site to a hospital. He further stated that AISA's National General Secretary, Neha, has also been on an indefinite hunger strike for over a fortnight, yet the government has not engaged in any dialogue with her.

Sanjay Paswan strongly condemned the police action against students peacefully protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and Gandhi Maidan in Patna. He claimed that students were beaten, lathi-charged, had false cases registered against them, and were arrested at night. The protesters demanded the immediate withdrawal of false cases and the release of arrested students. They also urged parents to support this movement for the future of their children.
