The annual general meeting of Jagat Jeevika Mahila Vikas Swavalambi Sahakari Samiti Limited (Murhadi) was held on Wednesday at the committee premises in Babubarhi block, Madhubani district. Hundreds of women cadres and officials from the region participated in the meeting. A report card of the financial year's achievements was presented, including the committee's annual income-expenditure statement, audit report, and balance sheet, which were unanimously approved by the members. Members lauded the transparency in financial management.

The primary objective of the meeting was to promote the economic advancement of women and create new self-employment opportunities through self-help groups. Block Project Manager Digambar Chaudhary stated that transparent systems and collective participation of women are the true strength of this institution. He emphasized that Jeevika's main goal is to make every woman financially self-reliant. Rakesh Kumar anchored the program. Job Manager Vishwajeet Kumar, Asim Krishna, Amit Kumar, along with several Jeevika staff and a large number of women members, were present. The meeting concluded with a pledge from all members to strengthen the committee further and ensure the benefits of its schemes reach every village.
