A jackal unleashed terror in Jihuli village late at night, leaving approximately a dozen villagers injured. The incident occurred within the village when the jackal suddenly began attacking residents. Among the injured are several men and women, who were immediately taken to a local health center for primary treatment. According to villagers, the jackal entered the village late in the night and targeted people who were sleeping or present outside their homes.

Eyewitnesses described the jackal's behavior as extremely aggressive, as it repeatedly pounced on people. Villagers attempted to scare off the jackal by shouting and using sticks, but it did not give up easily. Finally, after several hours of struggle, the villagers collectively managed to drive the jackal out of the village. A climate of fear has gripped the entire village since the incident. Residents are now afraid to venture out at night and are not allowing children to go outside alone.

Some of the injured villagers sustained serious wounds, particularly deep cuts on their legs and hands. Doctors have administered anti-rabies injections and other necessary medications. The local administration has been informed of the incident, and villagers have also appealed to the forest department for assistance. They demand that appropriate measures be taken to keep such wild animals away from populated areas and that concrete steps be implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future. The village head has urged all villagers to remain vigilant and avoid going out alone at night.
