A serious land dispute has emerged in Dhobaniya village, Jokihat block, Araria district. A woman named Shahnaz has filed a complaint at Jokihat police station, accusing some individuals of attempting to seize her husband's ancestral land. Shahnaz alleges that her husband, Jabbar, suffered from mental health issues, and certain people exploited this by allegedly fabricating a fake death certificate to take over his property.

Shahnaz also claims that she is being denied her legal share in the ancestral land. When she protests, she faces threats of assault and death. The victim has demanded a fair investigation and strict action against the culprits.

Conversely, the accused party has dismissed all allegations made by the woman as baseless and unfounded. They contend that only one side of the story has been presented so far, and the actual situation is different. They claim to possess all necessary documents and evidence to support their side. The accused party has expressed full faith in the administration and the judicial process.

Jokihat Police Station in-charge, Imtiaz Khan, stated that the woman's application was received on Saturday. Based on the application, a thorough investigation into the matter is underway. The Station in-charge clarified that appropriate legal action would be taken based on the facts that emerge during the investigation. Currently, the case involves claims and counter-claims from both parties, and the truth will only be revealed after the police investigation.
