Katihar district witnessed two significant initiatives on Monday aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and promptly resolving issues faced by police personnel. Firstly, a training workshop was organized at the NIC within the Collectorate for the effective operation of the PSM portal. Remaining IT officials received detailed training from master trainers on portal operation, module usage, data entry, report generation, and efficient online task execution. Officials were instructed to apply this knowledge to make departmental work more transparent, timely, and effective, ensuring government schemes and services reach the common public quickly.

Simultaneously, Superintendent of Police Parichay Kumar inspected the Katihar Police Center on the occasion of Line Day. He interacted with police personnel, listened attentively to their personal and service-related problems, and issued necessary directives to concerned officials for their resolution. The SP emphasized that maintaining the morale of the police force and addressing their issues promptly are departmental priorities. He also reviewed the arrangements at the police center, stressing discipline, cleanliness, and fostering a positive work culture.
