Gopalganj: To directly address the concerns of students residing in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), special camps were organized on Tuesday across all seven blocks of the Hathua sub-division under the Bihar government's 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Initiative'. Students openly presented their problems and suggestions to the officials during these camps, ranging from water supply issues, food quality, sanitation, security, to academic difficulties.

A total of 18 applications were received, and 6 of them were resolved on the spot. All 18 applications have been entered online into the 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Portal' to ensure online monitoring and prompt resolution of grievances. The process to address the remaining cases in a time-bound manner by the concerned officials has also been initiated.

The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) also attended the camp organized at Hathua KGBV. They directly interacted with the students, listened to their problems, and provided information about the utility and process of the 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Portal'. Students were informed that complaints regarding hostel arrangements, drinking water, food, security, sanitation, and academic facilities, among other issues, can be registered on this platform.

It was also announced that 'Vidyarthi Sahyog Camps' will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The concerned Block Education Officer has been designated as the nodal officer for monitoring the program. The next camp is scheduled for September 22, 2026, across all KGBVs in the Hathua sub-division. The administration believes that this initiative is a significant step towards the rapid resolution of student problems and strengthening transparency and accountability in the education system.
