A promotion ceremony was held on Wednesday at the Police Auditorium in Kishanganj, where 32 Police Sub-Inspectors (SIs) were promoted. Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Kumar personally adorned the shoulders of the promoted officers with two stars each, officially assigning them their new responsibilities. The event created an atmosphere of joy within the police fraternity.

SP Santosh Kumar congratulated all the promoted SIs, emphasizing that promotion is not merely an increase in rank but also brings with it greater responsibilities towards society, the public, and the police department. He expressed confidence that all officers would carry out the directives and duties assigned by police headquarters and senior officials with utmost honesty and dedication.

The SP advised the newly promoted officers to maintain good conduct with the general public and to resolve their issues swiftly. He stressed the importance of working with discipline and full responsibility, prioritizing public convenience and law and order above all else. During the ceremony, attended by other police officers and staff, the promoted officers were wished well for their new roles, leading to visible enthusiasm and happiness among them.

Following their promotions, these police sub-inspectors will shoulder crucial responsibilities, including maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and addressing public grievances. SP Kumar urged all officers to embrace discipline, honesty, and promptness in their new capacities.
