A tragic road accident in Siwan district has claimed the life of a laborer. The incident reportedly occurred late Wednesday evening when a speeding truck ran over a pedestrian. The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. Police have since seized the truck and initiated further investigation.

The accident took place on the Siwan-Mairwa main road. The identity of the deceased laborer has not yet been established.
