मधुबनी जिले के लौकही थाना क्षेत्र में गुरुवार देर रात चोरों ने छत काटकर दो दुकानों को निशाना बनाया। इन वारदातों में एक किराना दुकान से करीब 1.15 लाख रुपये का सामान और 35 हजार रुपये नकद चोरी हो गए, जबकि ठीक सामने स्थित एक पान दुकान से 10 लीटर पेट्रोल और 500 रुपये नकद उड़ा लिए गए।
सनपतहा वार्ड संख्या-14 निवासी मो. इरशाद (66) की किराना दुकान में चोरी हुई। उनकी दुकान लौकही के धोबीयाही चौक पर मो. मुस्तकीम के मकान में किराए पर है। मो. इरशाद ने 24 सितंबर की रात करीब 8 बजे दुकान बंद की थी और 25 सितंबर की सुबह 7 बजे दुकान खोलने पर उन्हें छत में लगा एस्बेस्टस टूटा हुआ मिला। चोर छत के रास्ते दुकान में घुसे और सामान बिखेर दिया। दुकान से कुल 1.15 लाख रुपये मूल्य का सामान और गल्ले में रखे 35 हजार रुपये नकद गायब मिले।
इसी किराना दुकान के सामने बसंत कुमार की पान दुकान में भी चोरी की घटना हुई। चोर यहां से 10 लीटर पेट्रोल और 500 रुपये नकद लेकर फरार हो गए। शुक्रवार को दोनों दुकानदारों ने लौकही थाना में अज्ञात चोरों के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई है और पुलिस से कार्रवाई की मांग की है। मो. इरशाद ने बताया कि दुकान के आसपास सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगे हैं और उन्होंने पुलिस से फुटेज निकलवाकर जांच करने का आग्रह किया है। थानाध्यक्ष गौरव कुमार ने बताया कि आवेदन के आधार पर पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है और आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

The grocery shop belongs to Mohammad Irshad (66), a resident of Sanpatha Ward No. 14. His shop is rented in Mohammad Mustakim's house at Dhobiyahi Chowk in Laukahi. Irshad closed his shop around 8 PM on September 24. When he opened it at 7 AM on September 25, he found the asbestos roof broken. The thieves entered through the roof, ransacked the shop, and made off with goods worth 1.15 lakh rupees and 35 thousand rupees in cash from the counter.
The paan shop, owned by Basant Kumar and located opposite Irshad's grocery store, was also burgled. Thieves stole 10 liters of petrol and 500 rupees in cash from this shop. On Friday, both shopkeepers filed a complaint against unknown thieves at the Laukahi police station, demanding action. Mohammad Irshad stated that CCTV cameras are installed around the shop and urged the police to retrieve footage for investigation. Station House Officer Gaurav Kumar confirmed that based on the application, the police have initiated an investigation and further action will be taken.
