A free diagnostic and surgical camp is being organized for children suffering from congenital problems like cleft lip, cleft palate, and tongue under the National Child Health Program. This camp will be held from September 20 to September 25, 2026, at Duncan Hospital in Raxaul, East Champaran. Following the directives of the State Health Committee, identified children from Madhubani district under the National Child Health Program are being sent to Duncan Hospital in Raxaul for surgery.

The camp, organized by Reasons Beyond Medical Union Society, Duncan Hospital, Raxaul, in collaboration with Love Without Reason Foundation, will provide free surgeries to eligible children after necessary examinations. As per the instructions of the Health Department, arrangements will be made to transport identified children and their families to Duncan Hospital, Raxaul, via 102 ambulances and bring them back after treatment. Dr. Jaysudan Jha, AYUSH Medical Officer, National Child Health Program, Primary Health Center, Jaynagar, and Roshan Kumar, Pharmacist, National Child Health Program, Community Health Center, Basopatti, have been instructed to assist in this initiative.
