On the auspicious occasion of Shardiya Navratri, the gates of Maa Durga temples opened in Dhansoi on Friday during the Mool Nakshatra, transforming the entire area into a devotional hub. Devotees witnessed the deity amidst Vedic chants, conch sounds, and resounding slogans.

At the Shri Durga Manas Mandir in Dhansoi Bazaar and the Shri Shri Durga Puja Samiti's pandal in the village, the invocation and 'Netronmeelan' (opening of the deity's eyes) of Maa Durga were performed with full rituals. Thousands of devotees thronged both puja sites, with darshan and worship continuing throughout the day.

At the Shri Durga Manas Mandir in Dhansoi Bazaar, religious ceremonies were conducted under the guidance of Acharya Pradeep Pandey. Following this, the chief guest, Rajpur MLA Santosh Nirala, performed the 'Netronmeelan' of the goddess. As the gates opened, devotees expressed their reverence with loud chants. They bowed before the deity, praying for the peace, prosperity, and happiness of their families. JDU's OBC cell district president Vivek Prajapati and other guests were also present. Members of the Samaj Sudhar Samiti welcomed the guests, and a devotional atmosphere permeated the temple premises during the rituals.

After the gates opened, both puja sites saw a surge in devotees. A large number of women, men, and youth arrived for darshan, offering prayers and seeking blessings. Prasad was also distributed among the devotees. With the 'Netronmeelan' and the opening of Maa Durga's gates during Mool Nakshatra, the enthusiasm for Durga Puja in Dhansoi reached its peak, with the entire region immersed in festive colors, driven by religious faith, tradition, and collective participation.
