SDM द्वारा जारी आदेश के अनुसार, जिले के सभी पेट्रोल पंपों और खुदरा विक्रेताओं को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि वे केवल वाहनों में ही सीधे पेट्रोल और डीजल डालें। किसी भी व्यक्ति को बोतल, गैलन, या किसी अन्य खुले बर्तन में ईंधन नहीं दिया जाएगा। इस नियम का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इसमें संबंधित पेट्रोल पंप मालिक या विक्रेता पर जुर्माना और कानूनी कार्रवाई शामिल हो सकती है।
यह कदम खासकर उन ग्रामीण और अर्ध-शहरी क्षेत्रों में महत्वपूर्ण है जहाँ खुले में ईंधन की बिक्री आम बात है। इसका उपयोग अक्सर अवैध शराब के धंधे या अन्य आपराधिक गतिविधियों में किया जाता रहा है। प्रशासन का मानना है कि इस प्रतिबंध से इन गतिविधियों पर लगाम लगेगी और कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में मदद मिलेगी। साथ ही, यह कदम ज्वलनशील पदार्थों के सुरक्षित भंडारण और वितरण को बढ़ावा देगा, जिससे दुर्घटनाओं का जोखिम कम होगा।
SDM नीरज कुमार ने सभी संबंधित अधिकारियों, विशेषकर पुलिस और आपूर्ति विभाग को इस आदेश का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि नियमित रूप से जांच की जाएगी और यदि कोई भी विक्रेता इस आदेश का उल्लंघन करते पाया गया तो उसके खिलाफ बिना किसी देरी के कार्रवाई की जाएगी। यह जनता से भी अपील की गई है कि वे ऐसे किसी भी उल्लंघन की सूचना तत्काल प्रशासन को दें ताकि आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जा सके और जिले में सुरक्षित माहौल बना रहे।
