Ranjit Singh (34), a resident of Tiger Tola, Ward-11, Purauni police station area in Madhepura district, has gone missing from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Ranjit had gone to Vijayawada for work, and his last phone conversation with his family was on September 26. For the past 39 days, there has been no trace of him, leaving his family in distress and actively searching for him.

The family stated that Ranjit was facing difficulties with food and drink while working in Vijayawada and had expressed a desire to return home. His parents had even sent him 600 rupees for his return journey, but he never arrived. The family alleges that a contractor from their village took him to Vijayawada for work and failed to pay Ranjit his outstanding wages.

Since Ranjit's disappearance, the family has been searching for him through local public representatives and the same contractor, but without any success so far. The family has now appealed to the administration for help and has prepared an application. They suspect that the contractor knows something about Ranjit's disappearance and fear that he might have made their son disappear. However, no concrete information has emerged regarding this. The family has urged the administration to search for Ranjit and investigate the matter to take appropriate action.
