In Patepur, Vaishali, Mahagathbandhan workers staged a protest on Wednesday, alleging vote rigging and irregularities in the SIR (Special Investigation Report) process. Led by former MLA Prema Chaudhary, the activists marched from the block headquarters, through Hanuman Chowk, to the Shaheed Mauje Sahni Memorial. During the demonstration, effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar were burnt.
Mahagathbandhan leaders and workers chanted slogans against the central government and the SIR process. They alleged that irregularities in the SIR process are negatively impacting voters' rights. The protesters demanded transparency in the electoral process and strict action against alleged vote theft. Hundreds of workers participated in the demonstration, including VIP Block President Devkumar Sahni, Congress Block President Tarak Chaudhary, Mohammad Maqbool Ahmed, RJD youth leader Abhishek Chaudhary, Pankaj Yadav, Lalit Rai, Manish Rai, and Sitaram Rai.
