A tragic incident has unfolded in Maharajganj, Bihar, where a married woman visiting her parental home died due to electrocution. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over both families. According to reports, the unfortunate event occurred around 11 AM on Wednesday morning in Shivpur village, under the Maharajganj police station area. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Aarti Kumari, daughter of late Shivnath Mahto, a resident of Shivpur. Aarti had been married two years ago to Pintoo Kumar from Laheji village, located in Siwan district's Hasanpura police station area.

It is reported that Aarti was working in her home on Wednesday morning when she came into contact with a live electrical wire. The electric shock was so severe that she collapsed on the spot. Family members immediately rushed her to a local hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead. Following this incident, a wave of sorrow has swept through both Aarti's parental and in-laws' homes. Family members are inconsolable.

According to Aarti's relatives, she had arrived at her parental home a few days ago and was scheduled to return to her in-laws' house soon. This unforeseen tragedy has turned the family's joy into mourning. Villagers have expressed deep sorrow over the incident and offered condolences to the grieving family. Local administration has also been informed. Police have taken the body into custody for post-mortem examination and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
