Administrative preparations are in full swing in Mohania, Kaimur district, for the Eid-e-Miladunnabi procession (Juloos-e-Mohammadi) celebrating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. On Monday afternoon, Mohania SDM Ratna Priyadarshini and DSP Dayanand Kumar, accompanied by police forces, jointly inspected the designated routes for the procession.

During the inspection, the SDM assessed the conditions of waterlogging and damaged roads along the procession routes. She immediately directed the National Highway Authority (NHAI) and the local Nagar Panchayat to undertake necessary repairs. The SDM emphasized that any waterlogged areas or damaged roads along the route must be fixed promptly to ensure no hindrance occurs during the festival.

The administration is also considering a one-way traffic system, allowing vehicles to move only on the southern lane, to facilitate smooth traffic flow. Following the completion of the inspection, a comprehensive route chart will be prepared, based on which robust security and traffic management arrangements will be implemented. The primary objective of the administration is to ensure a peaceful and orderly celebration of the festival. The Mohania Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, and NHAI officials were also present during the inspection.
