मोतिहारी से एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना सामने आई है जहाँ शराब के नशे में धुत तीन युवकों ने एक बच्ची को अपनी कार से कुचल दिया। यह घटना मोतिहारी शहर में हुई, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए तीनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस ने बताया कि बच्ची को कुचलने के बाद आरोपी अपनी कार लेकर भागने की फिराक में थे, लेकिन स्थानीय लोगों और पुलिस के सहयोग से उन्हें पीछा कर पकड़ा गया।
पुलिस के अनुसार, यह घटना देर रात हुई जब आरोपी शराब के नशे में धुत होकर तेज रफ्तार से गाड़ी चला रहे थे। इसी दौरान उनकी कार ने सड़क पर खेल रही एक बच्ची को टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि बच्ची गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। घटना के बाद आसपास के लोग तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे और बच्ची को अस्पताल पहुँचाया। उसकी हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है और उसका इलाज चल रहा है।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने बताया कि घटना के बाद आरोपी कार लेकर भागने की कोशिश कर रहे थे, लेकिन लोगों ने साहस दिखाते हुए उनका पीछा किया और पुलिस को सूचना दी। पुलिस ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए नाकेबंदी की और तीनों युवकों को कार सहित धर दबोचा। गिरफ्तार किए गए युवकों के खिलाफ हत्या के प्रयास (धारा 307) और शराब पीकर गाड़ी चलाने सहित कई अन्य धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस उनसे पूछताछ कर रही है और मामले की आगे की जाँच जारी है। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर शराब पीकर गाड़ी चलाने के खतरों और उसके गंभीर परिणामों को उजागर किया है।
