A tragic road accident in Motihari resulted in the death of one youth and left another seriously injured. The incident occurred when a Scorpio vehicle, reportedly bearing the inscription 'MP' (Member of Parliament), collided with a motorcycle. Following the accident, a crowd of local residents gathered at the scene and promptly informed the police.

Eyewitnesses stated that the Scorpio was speeding and lost control, hitting the two youths on the bike. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle was completely destroyed, and one of the riders died on the spot. The other injured youth was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he is currently receiving treatment. His condition remains serious.

Upon arrival, the police took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. The Scorpio vehicle has also been seized, although the driver managed to flee the scene. Police have registered a case and are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding driver. An investigation is also underway to determine why 'MP' was written on the vehicle and whether it has any connection to a Member of Parliament. Local residents are outraged by the incident and are demanding strict action against the responsible driver.
