Nishant Kumar, a 20-year-old resident of Seema village in Silao police station area, Asthawan block, Nalanda district, has been missing since August 30. His family has searched extensively but found no trace of him by September 4. The family is now appealing to the public through the media for help in locating Nishant.

Nishant's mother, Manju Devi, stated that she had gone to Biharsharif with her son for some work. On their return journey, near Chora Bagicha in the Deepnagar police station area, Manju Devi got off the bus to get water. When she returned to the bus, Nishant was not there. She inquired in nearby areas, among relatives, and acquaintances, but Nishant's whereabouts remain unknown.

According to the family, Nishant has been in an unstable mental condition for the past six years. He had gone missing twice before but returned on his own. The family initially went to Silao police station, where they were advised to file a complaint in the police station area from which Nishant went missing. As per the family, a written complaint has not yet been filed at Deepnagar police station. Nishant is dark-complexioned and was wearing a red T-shirt and half-pants. The family urges anyone with information about Nishant to contact them.
