According to information, the Cooperative Department has issued directives to all PACS to submit a comprehensive report on the services rendered through Common Service Centers (CSCs). This includes a complete record of various digital services provided by CSCs to farmers and other beneficiaries, such as online applications, certificate generation, bill payments, and more.

Furthermore, PACS have been asked to provide a full account of ration distribution under PDS. This requires clarifying how much grain was distributed to how many beneficiaries, at what rates, the stock status, and any challenges encountered during the distribution process. This initiative specifically targets PACS where CSC services are actively operational and where PDS distribution is a significant activity. The department believes that such detailed audits will not only curb financial irregularities but also improve the quality of services.

Officials from the Cooperative Department state that this is part of a regular process aimed at making the functioning of PACS more effective. All PACS have been instructed to provide this information within a stipulated timeframe, failing which action may be taken against them. This step is expected to bring greater transparency to PACS operations and ensure better facilities for beneficiaries.
