Police in Patahi police station area of East Champaran have intensified their crackdown on absconding individuals with outstanding warrants. Under the leadership of Station House Officer (SHO) Abhishek Kumar, a police team carried out property attachment proceedings in Padumker and Bela Baiju villages, acting on court orders. During the operation in Padumker village, warrant holder Upendra Hazra surrendered to the police team upon seeing them arrive at his home to attach property. He was immediately taken into custody.

The police also proceeded with property attachment at the residence of another absconding warrant holder, Sohan Sah alias Tiger, in Bela Baiju village. This strict action has reportedly caused panic among other absconding individuals in the area. SHO Abhishek Kumar stated that these actions are being carried out in compliance with court orders, and similar operations will continue against those attempting to evade the law.
