Heavy rainfall significantly impacted the 'Sahyog Shivir' (Cooperation Camp) organized on Wednesday in Billo Panchayat, Kumar Khand block, Madhepura district. Due to the inclement weather, the turnout of applicants at the camp was considerably low. Despite this, a total of 53 applications were processed and resolved on the spot, providing much-needed relief to the villagers.

The primary objective of the 'Sahyog Shivir' was to offer various government schemes and services to rural residents under one roof. The camp featured stalls from 17 different departments, covering essential services such as ration cards, old-age pensions, MNREGA, agriculture, health, and education. Officials and staff from these departments were present to address and resolve villagers' issues promptly.

Despite the rain, those who managed to attend the camp benefited significantly. Their applications were scrutinized on-site, and eligible applicants received immediate assistance. Officials present at the camp acknowledged that the expected crowd did not materialize due to the weather but emphasized that the work of those who attended was completed swiftly. They also indicated that similar camps would be organized again once the weather improves to benefit a larger population.

Villagers lauded the government's initiative, stating that such camps save them the hassle of repeatedly visiting government offices. They expressed hope that such events would continue in the future, allowing their problems to be resolved closer to home. While the rain undeniably had a partial impact on the camp's overall success, the processing of 53 applications represents a positive outcome.
