राजपुर प्रखंड क्षेत्र में पिछले एक सप्ताह से खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमतों में लगातार हो रही बढ़ोतरी से आम लोगों की परेशानी बढ़ गई है। इस महंगाई का सबसे ज्यादा असर दिहाड़ी मजदूर, किसान और कम आय वाले परिवारों पर पड़ रहा है। स्थानीय युवाओं का कहना है कि रोजमर्रा के इस्तेमाल में आने वाले सामान के दाम बढ़ने से सीमित आमदनी में घर का खर्च चलाना मुश्किल हो गया है। ग्रामीणों के अनुसार, पहले से ही बेरोजगारी और कम मजदूरी की समस्या झेल रहे परिवार अब महंगे राशन की वजह से अतिरिक्त आर्थिक दबाव में हैं।
लोगों का कहना है कि यदि खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमतों में इसी तरह वृद्धि जारी रही तो गरीब परिवारों के सामने रोजमर्रा की जरूरतें पूरी करना भी मुश्किल हो जाएगा। स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि पीडीएस दुकानों से चीनी और केरोसिन जैसी आवश्यक वस्तुओं की उपलब्धता बंद होने के बाद लोगों को इन सामानों के लिए खुले बाजार पर निर्भर होना पड़ रहा है। खुले बाजार में कीमत अधिक होने के कारण इसका सीधा असर परिवारों के मासिक बजट पर पड़ रहा है।
ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि सीमित मजदूरी में पहले ही भोजन, बच्चों की पढ़ाई और दूसरे जरूरी खर्च पूरे करना चुनौती बना हुआ है। ऐसे में राशन और खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमत बढ़ने से आर्थिक परेशानी और बढ़ गई है। युवाओं ने प्रशासन से बाजार में कीमतों की निगरानी बढ़ाने और खाद्य पदार्थों की कालाबाजारी पर रोक लगाने की मांग की है। उन्होंने सरकार से हस्तक्षेप की मांग करते हुए कहा कि कीमतों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए नियमित बाजार जांच की जानी चाहिए। यदि समय रहते कीमतों पर नियंत्रण नहीं किया गया तो गरीब परिवारों की स्थिति और खराब हो सकती है, और रोजगार की तलाश में होने वाले पलायन पर भी महंगाई का असर पड़ने की आशंका है।
कलीमुल्लाह और कृष्ण कुमार जैसे स्थानीय युवाओं ने अपनी चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए सरकार से जन वितरण प्रणाली को मजबूत करने और कीमतों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए प्रभावी कदम उठाने की अपील की है।

The situation has worsened since essential items like sugar and kerosene are no longer available at PDS (Public Distribution System) shops, forcing people to rely on the open market, where prices are higher, directly impacting monthly budgets.
Villagers highlight that even with limited wages, covering food, children's education, and other essential expenses was already a challenge. The rising cost of groceries and food items has further exacerbated their financial woes. Youth have urged the administration to increase market surveillance and curb black marketing of food items. They have also called upon the government to intervene, demanding regular market inspections to control prices. Failure to do so, they warn, could worsen the plight of poor families and potentially lead to increased migration in search of employment.
Local youths like Kalimullah and Krishna Kumar have voiced their concerns, appealing to the government to strengthen the public distribution system and take effective measures to control prices.
