The Muharram Tazia procession and congregation in Rosera subdivision of Samastipur district concluded peacefully. Extensive security arrangements were in place, and the administration remained vigilant throughout the event. Tazias from various Akharas converged at Gandhi Chowk in the city, where thousands of people had gathered.

Preparations for Muharram had been underway in Rosera for several days. Tazia processions, accompanied by drums, traditional music, and displays of skill, emerged from different localities and proceeded towards Gandhi Chowk. A grand stage was set up at Gandhi Chowk, from where administrative officials and public representatives monitored the entire program. Participants showcased traditional feats, and the Tazias from various Akharas were peacefully brought together in an atmosphere of harmony.

To maintain law and order, the Rosera administration had made special arrangements. Police forces were deployed across the city, and senior officials, including the DSP and SDO, conducted continuous patrols. Drone cameras were also used for surveillance to prevent any untoward incidents. Additional police personnel were stationed at sensitive locations. Furthermore, members of the local peace committee actively cooperated with the administration, contributing to the successful conclusion of the event.

Administrative officials stated that the festival of Muharram symbolizes communal harmony, a tradition that has been observed in Rosera for years. This year, too, people demonstrated mutual brotherhood and celebrated the festival peacefully. No untoward incidents were reported, for which the administration extended its gratitude to everyone. The successful organization of the event brought satisfaction to the local residents.
