A case of alleged rape of a minor girl has been reported in Sikti village, falling under the Parsa police station area in Saran district. Prompt action by the police led to the arrest of the named accused, Ganesh Sahni, soon after the incident was reported. Given the seriousness of the matter, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also visited the scene to inspect the site and collect scientific evidence. Police officials have stated that a fair and thorough investigation is underway.

According to the police, the victim's mother filed a written complaint at Parsa police station, accusing Ganesh Sahni, a resident of the same village, of raping her minor daughter. Based on this application and the victim's statement, Parsa Police Station registered FIR No. 366/26 under relevant sections, including the POCSO Act.

Parsa Station House Officer (SHO) Om Prakash informed that the incident occurred late Tuesday evening, with the complaint being lodged at the police station on Wednesday morning. The police acted swiftly upon receiving the complaint and arrested Ganesh Sahni. After completing the necessary legal procedures, he was produced before the Chhapra Civil Court for further judicial action.

The minor victim has been sent to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for medical examination, and the medical report will be a crucial part of the investigation. The FSL team, arriving in Sikti village for scientific investigation, meticulously inspected the crime scene and seized suspicious items as evidence. These will be included in the case diary after their examination reports are available. The police affirm that all aspects of the case are being investigated, and further legal proceedings will be based on the collected evidence, the victim's statement, and the medical report.
