बिहारशरीफ के बाबा मणिराम अखाड़ा स्थित सरदार पटेल मेमोरियल कॉलेज, उदंतपुरी में 28 अक्टूबर को संस्थापक प्राचार्य प्रो. राजेंद्र प्रसाद की प्रतिमा का अनावरण किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर कॉलेज परिसर में नवनिर्मित वॉलीबॉल और बैडमिंटन कोर्ट का भी उद्घाटन होगा। इसके अतिरिक्त, सांसद निधि से निर्मित महाविद्यालय संपर्क पथ का लोकार्पण भी किया जाएगा। यह समारोह सुबह 10 बजे से आयोजित होगा, जिसके लिए कॉलेज प्रशासन ने सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली हैं।
कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और राज्यसभा सांसद नीतीश कुमार उपस्थित रहेंगे। ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री श्रवण कुमार और सांसद कौशलेंद्र कुमार विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होंगे। पाटलिपुत्र विश्वविद्यालय, पटना के कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) उपेंद्र प्रसाद सिंह कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करेंगे, जबकि विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र कल्याण अधिष्ठाता प्रो. राजीव रंजन भी मौजूद रहेंगे।
कॉलेज के प्रभारी प्राचार्य प्रो. (डॉ.) महेश प्रसाद सिंह ने बताया कि संस्थापक प्राचार्य प्रो. राजेंद्र प्रसाद की प्रतिमा का अनावरण उनके शैक्षणिक योगदान और संस्थान के विकास में उनकी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को याद करने का एक अवसर है। यह प्रतिमा विद्यार्थियों को कॉलेज की स्थापना और उसकी समृद्ध शैक्षणिक विरासत से परिचित कराएगी। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि कॉलेज का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा के साथ-साथ खेलकूद और अन्य गतिविधियों के लिए बेहतर वातावरण प्रदान करना है। परिसर में वॉलीबॉल और बैडमिंटन कोर्ट के शुरू होने से छात्रों को बेहतरीन खेल सुविधाएं मिलेंगी, जिससे उनके सर्वांगीण विकास में मदद मिलेगी।
The statue of founding principal Prof. Rajendra Prasad will be unveiled on October 28 at Sardar Patel Memorial College, Udantpuri, located at Baba Maniram Akhara in Biharsharif.
