On the last Monday of the holy month of Sawan, a large number of devotees flocked to various Shiva temples in Bhabhua city. From early Monday morning, men, women, and young girls offered prayers to Lord Shiva in the city's temples. Devotees performed 'Jalabhishek' on the Shivling, offering belpatra, flowers, and garlands, and prayed for the fulfillment of their wishes. A devotional atmosphere prevailed in the temples throughout the day.

Special prayers were organized at several Shiva temples, including the Dakeshwar Mahadev Temple, on the occasion of the last Sawan Somwari. Devotees performed 'Jalabhishek' as well as 'Rudrabhishek'. Shivpujan Tiwari, the priest of Dakeshwar Mahadev Temple, stated that due to it being the last Sawan Somwari, there was a huge rush of devotees from the morning itself. He mentioned that devotees offered belpatra, flowers, and garlands after performing 'Jalabhishek' and 'Rudrabhishek' of Lord Shiva.

To ensure the safety of devotees and manage the crowd, police forces were deployed around the temples. Bhabhua SHO Mukesh Kumar confirmed that police personnel were stationed at various temples in the city to ensure security arrangements. Police personnel were also deployed at Devi Ji Temple in Bhabhua city to prevent any inconvenience to female devotees. Special arrangements were also made in several temples considering the large crowds of women devotees.
