नालंदा जिले के सिलाव प्रखंड मुख्यालय स्थित सभागार में बुधवार को पंचायत समिति की एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता प्रखंड प्रमुख चंदन देवी ने की, जबकि संचालन प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी (बीडीओ) डॉ. जितेंद्र कुमार ने किया। बैठक में मुख्य रूप से किसानों को यूरिया की अधिक कीमतों पर बिक्री और राशन कार्ड से संबंधित समस्याओं पर गहन चर्चा हुई।
पंचायत समिति के सदस्यों ने शिकायत की कि क्षेत्र में यूरिया खाद निर्धारित मूल्य से अधिक दाम पर बेची जा रही है, जिससे किसानों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इस गंभीर मुद्दे पर संज्ञान लेते हुए बीडीओ डॉ. जितेंद्र कुमार ने कृषि समन्वयक को निर्देश दिया कि वे इस मामले की तत्काल जांच करें और दोषी पाए जाने वाले विक्रेताओं के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि किसी भी कीमत पर किसानों का शोषण बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
बैठक में राशन कार्ड से जुड़ी समस्याओं पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा हुई। कई सदस्यों ने बताया कि पात्र लाभार्थियों को राशन कार्ड नहीं मिल पा रहे हैं, जबकि कुछ मामलों में अपात्र लोगों के पास राशन कार्ड हैं। बीडीओ ने इस मुद्दे पर भी गंभीरता दिखाते हुए संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे राशन कार्ड वितरण प्रणाली की समीक्षा करें और यह सुनिश्चित करें कि केवल पात्र व्यक्तियों को ही इसका लाभ मिले। उन्होंने कहा कि राशन कार्ड से संबंधित शिकायतों का प्राथमिकता के आधार पर निवारण किया जाना चाहिए।
इस बैठक में उप प्रमुख अनुराधा कुमारी, अंचलाधिकारी शंभू मंडल, मनरेगा कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी राजीव रंजन, बाल विकास परियोजना पदाधिकारी अनुपमा कुमारी सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी और पंचायत समिति के सभी सदस्य उपस्थित थे। उपस्थित सदस्यों ने अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों की समस्याओं को उठाया और उनके समाधान के लिए सुझाव भी दिए। बीडीओ ने सभी अधिकारियों को जनहित के मुद्दों पर सक्रियता से काम करने और समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान करने के निर्देश दिए।
A significant meeting of the Panchayat Samiti was held on Wednesday at the auditorium of Silao block headquarters in Nalanda district. The meeting was chaired by Block Pramukh Chandan Devi and conducted by Block Development Officer (BDO) Dr. Jitendra Kumar. The primary topics of discussion were the overpricing of urea for farmers and issues related to ration cards.
Members of the Panchayat Samiti complained that urea fertilizer was being sold at prices higher than the fixed rate, causing significant distress to farmers. Taking serious note of this, BDO Dr. Jitendra Kumar instructed the agriculture coordinator to investigate the matter immediately and ensure strict action against vendors found guilty. He emphasized that the exploitation of farmers would not be tolerated at any cost.
Discussions also focused on problems associated with ration cards. Several members reported that eligible beneficiaries were not receiving ration cards, while in some cases, ineligible individuals possessed them. The BDO addressed this issue with gravity, directing concerned officials to review the ration card distribution system and ensure that only eligible persons benefit. He stressed that ration card-related complaints should be resolved on a priority basis.
The meeting saw the presence of Deputy Pramukh Anuradha Kumari, Circle Officer Shambhu Mandal, MNREGA Program Officer Rajiv Ranjan, Child Development Project Officer Anupama Kumari, along with officials from various departments and all members of the Panchayat Samiti. Members raised issues from their respective areas and offered solutions. The BDO instructed all officials to actively work on public interest issues and resolve problems swiftly.
