नालंदा जिले के सिलाव प्रखंड में मंगलवार को टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान के तहत एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की गई। इस दौरान पांच टीबी मरीजों को पोषण किट वितरित किए गए। इस कार्यक्रम में अपर समाहर्ता (आपदा) बृजेश कुमार ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की और स्वयं अपने हाथों से पोषण किट बांटे। उन्होंने इस अवसर पर उपस्थित सभी जनप्रतिनिधियों और समाज के प्रबुद्ध लोगों से अपील की कि वे टीबी उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम में अपनी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करें।
अपर समाहर्ता ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वर्ष 2025 तक भारत को टीबी मुक्त बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा है, और इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए जनभागीदारी अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि टीबी एक गंभीर बीमारी है, लेकिन सही समय पर इलाज और उचित पोषण से इसे पूरी तरह ठीक किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि सरकार टीबी मरीजों को पोषण संबंधी सहायता प्रदान कर रही है, जिसके तहत उन्हें हर महीने 500 रुपये की आर्थिक मदद दी जाती है। यह राशि सीधे उनके बैंक खातों में जमा की जाती है, ताकि वे पौष्टिक आहार खरीद सकें और अपनी रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ा सकें।
सिलाव प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी (बीडीओ) ने भी इस अवसर पर टीबी मरीजों को हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करने का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रखंड प्रशासन टीबी मुक्त अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है और इस दिशा में सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाएगा। कार्यक्रम में मौजूद जनप्रतिनिधियों ने भी इस नेक पहल की सराहना की और टीबी मरीजों की मदद के लिए आगे आने का संकल्प लिया।
इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य टीबी मरीजों को न केवल पोषण संबंधी सहायता प्रदान करना था, बल्कि समाज में टीबी के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना और इसके कलंक को दूर करना भी था। अधिकारियों ने उम्मीद जताई कि इस तरह के प्रयासों से लोग टीबी के बारे में अधिक जागरूक होंगे और समय पर जांच व उपचार कराने के लिए प्रेरित होंगे, जिससे 2025 तक टीबी मुक्त भारत का सपना साकार हो सकेगा।
In a significant initiative under the TB-Free India campaign, nutrition kits were distributed to five tuberculosis patients in Silao block, Nalanda district, on Tuesday. Additional Collector (Disaster) Brijesh Kumar presided over the event as the chief guest and personally handed out the kits. He urged all public representatives and prominent citizens present to ensure their active participation in the TB eradication program.
Addressing the gathering, the Additional Collector stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to make India TB-free by 2025, emphasizing that public participation is crucial to achieve this goal. He highlighted that TB is a serious disease but can be completely cured with timely treatment and proper nutrition. He also mentioned that the government provides nutritional support to TB patients, including a monthly financial aid of Rs 500, which is directly deposited into their bank accounts to help them purchase nutritious food and boost their immunity.
The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Silao also assured all possible assistance to TB patients, affirming the block administration's full commitment to making the TB-free campaign a success. Public representatives present at the event lauded the initiative and pledged to support TB patients. The program aimed not only to provide nutritional aid but also to raise awareness about TB in society and eliminate its stigma. Officials expressed hope that such efforts would encourage people to get tested and treated in time, realizing the dream of a TB-free India by 2025.
