The District Magistrate (DM) of Samastipur conducted a surprise inspection of the New Degree College located in Singhiya. During the inspection, the DM reviewed various arrangements within the college premises and issued directives for necessary improvements. Special emphasis was placed on the beautification of the college's park and pond.

The DM instructed college officials to take immediate steps to make the park and pond more appealing, stressing that a beautiful and clean environment plays a crucial role in enhancing students' educational experience. Additionally, the DM inspected the cleanliness of the college premises, toilet facilities, and drinking water provisions.

The District Magistrate directed the college administration to ensure a better learning environment for students. The condition of classrooms, the library, and laboratories was also evaluated. The DM emphasized that providing quality education to students should be the top priority and all necessary resources for this should be made available. The DM also stated that such surprise inspections would continue in the future to ensure continuous improvement in the arrangements.
