A head-on collision between two motorcycles occurred on the Siwan-Barharia main road near Sahbachak Morh in the Barharia police station area on Sunday evening. In this accident, a 32-year-old biker, Nikku Paswan, was seriously injured. After receiving primary treatment, he has been referred to Siwan Sadar Hospital.

The injured youth has been identified as Nikku Paswan, son of Raghunath Paswan, a resident of Chhakka Tola within the Barharia police station limits. It is reported that Nikku Paswan was riding his motorcycle towards Siwan on Sunday evening for some work. At Sahbachak Morh, his bike collided strongly with another motorcycle coming from the Siwan side. The impact was so severe that Nikku Paswan fell onto the road and sustained serious injuries.

Following the accident, a crowd of onlookers gathered at the spot. Local residents immediately informed the police by calling 112. Upon receiving the information, a 112 team reached the scene and took the injured youth to the Barharia Community Health Center for treatment. Doctors at the center provided primary treatment to Nikku Paswan. Given his critical condition, doctors referred him to Siwan Sadar Hospital for better treatment.

Barharia SHO Chhotan Kumar stated that upon receiving information about the road accident, the 112 team was immediately dispatched to the scene. The team transported the injured person to the hospital. He also mentioned that further action would be taken as per rules once an application is received in the matter. The police are gathering information regarding the causes of the accident and the other biker involved. Meanwhile, local residents have demanded control over the high speed of vehicles on the main road to prevent such accidents in the future.
