A significant uproar occurred during a Panchayat Samiti meeting held at the Darauli Block Cluster Office in Siwan district. Panchayat Samiti members expressed strong dissatisfaction over the arbitrary actions and indifference of officials. Members alleged that officials were not paying attention to their complaints and suggestions, which was hindering development work. The meeting was intended to review various development schemes, but this was not possible due to the irresponsible attitude of the officials. Members accused officials of not taking public interest issues seriously and acting according to their whims. During the commotion, several members threatened to boycott the meeting. The Block Development Officer attempted to calm the members and assured them that their problems would be addressed. He directed officials to coordinate with Panchayat Samiti members and listen to their concerns seriously.
