A massive fire broke out late Wednesday night at Krishna Saree Sadan, located on Station Road in Siwan town. The inferno completely destroyed clothes worth approximately ₹40 lakh stored in the shop. Short-circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire. Upon receiving information about the incident, local administration and the fire department team rushed to the spot and began efforts to extinguish the blaze. After hours of struggle, the fire was brought under control, but by then, all the goods in the shop had been reduced to ashes.

The shop owner stated that they had closed the shop and gone home around 11 PM on Wednesday. Around 1 AM, they received news of the fire. Upon reaching the shop, they saw flames erupting from inside. They immediately informed the fire brigade. Fire tenders arrived at the scene and commenced firefighting operations. The fire was so intense that it took several hours to bring it under control.

Local residents also assisted in extinguishing the fire. The shop owner has suffered a significant loss due due to this incident and has demanded compensation from the administration. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Preliminary investigations suggest a short circuit as the cause of the fire. Police stated that the exact cause would be determined only after a detailed investigation. The incident created a chaotic atmosphere in the Station Road area.
